16 runners, 5 dogs and a few hang-overs took part in the Harrier's traditional New Years Day Run to Broadsands Beach, taking the opportunity to blow away the cobwebs and for some to break-in their new Christmas Running Shoes.
This year a good number of the group also decided to take a dip in the sea, encouraged by the unusually warm weather.
Susan kindly hosted a Slap-up brunch for the returning participants, including bucks-fizz to help restore our circulation after the swim.
