David took part in his first race in several years this weekend, as was rewarded with a podium place, taking first in the VM60 category.
There is sting is in the tail of this 5 mile route, The first mile or so is mostly downhill, followed by a fairly flat middle section , but as we know in Brixham, what goes down , must go up and last mile contains steep climbs and several tight turns to the finish line
Apparently David was late for the start of the race, hastily pinning his number on with just two pins, but nevertheless came first in his age category and was awarded a nice bottle of wine....
