Couch to Parkrun!

Brixham Harriers were out in force at the Torbay parkrun today, to support James and Mandy who have just completed their "Couch to 5K" running challenge, with twice weekly coaching from the club.

C25K is a 10 week program, supported by an NHS app, with three short sessions a week. The Harriers provide coaching and support for two of these sessions each week and by the end of the program participants are able to run 5km (3.1miles), which makes park-run an ideal event-based celebration of their achievement.

Brixham harriers offers coaching for C25K, with groups starting in January and September, many participants continue running with the club and compete in other events such as the Torbay half marathon. If you would like to join the next beginners group please get in touch!
