Four Harriers set the 2022 ball rolling with a 10k "figure of eight" race in the stunning rural lanes at Stoke St Gregory in Somerset. They were joined by 350 runners of all abilities, to smell the manure and take in the beautiful rural lanes picturesque villages, powered by crowds of cheering supporters and a just a few jelly babies!
Most of the course was relatively flat with the exception two steep inclines, but the most exciting section was a flooded road, with no alternative than getting very wet feet!
Something tells me that water is cold!
The team considered this one of the best organised and marshalled runs they have done recently and thoroughly enjoyed the event
