Tough Runner Exeter Epic Trail 10k

The epic 10k lived up to it’s name in more ways than one. It was the one of the first organised runs allowed after lock-down and it felt great to be out again. The weather was fabulous (not too hot or cold) and the event colours were a perfect match to our club tops!
Covid regulations were in place. There was a staggered start, lots of hand sanitizer inside and outside the toilet blocks and we had to collect our own medals. Water was in bottles and you had to pick them up from the table yourself and needless to say social distancing was also observed.
The course was awesome, a lovely trail through woods and around Escot Estate.
Well done to Susan for coming first in her age category!
