The Harriers are busy enjoying the run-up to Christmas with a number of seasonal running events, here's a look at what has been happening so far this month....
The Cockington Christmas Caper is a firm favourite with club members, taking in 7.5 miles of challenging terrain and this year Nikki, Johnny, Linda, Susan, Neil ,Simon and David (who was warming up when this photo was taken!) all took part.
Finishers were rewarded with a mug and very welcome slice of Christmas cake! David, Susan, Simon and Linda all won prizes in their age category and were presented with rather splendid hats. Linda was especially delighted to receive her first ever award and rumour has it that she wore the hat continuously for the next two days!
Meanwhile Hilary completed the Fordh Sen Mighal (St Michael's Way) in Cornwall a spectacular 11 mile route, with grueling finish across a the beach
After sunset Ferne competed in the Haldon 10K night run in freezing cold conditions, luckily with a Santa Hat to keep out the cold
Finally Sunday saw thew return of the Brixham Santa Run, and annual charity fun-run organised by Brixham Soroptimists in conjunction with Brixham Harriers. Over 200 participants, dressed as Santa ran a 3k course raising over £2000, for local good causes. Harriers were out in force,, helping with the organisation and competing in the run
